Koja Satpol PP Closely Monitors Business Place Operations During Pandemic

The Koja Sub-district Satpol PP, North Jakarta closely monitors the operations of business premises and compliance with health protocols during the public activity restrictions (PPKM) Level 3.

Koja Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Rosely Tambunan said, it was conducted at restaurants and cafes on Jalan Bhayangkara, Tugu Utara Urban Village and Jalan Walang Sari, Tugu Utara Urban Village.

"These places are usually a place for young people to gather or hang out at night. From the results of monitoring last night until early morning, we still find the crowd which means exceeding the specified capacity," she expressed, Friday (10/8).

She explained, the officers immediately dispersed the crowd persuasively. As for business owners were given a written warning.

"We still have to work together to maintain the downward trend of Covid-19 cases. We must obey the health protocol as the pandemic is not over yet," she explained.

During the operation, the monitoring involved 10 personnel assisted by Tugu Utara Urban Village Satpol PP and Koja Sector Police.

"It will be conducted intensively, especially by intensifying patrols in areas prone to crowds and violations of health protocols," he stated.
